The Aylesford Pottery at The Friars in Aylesford, Kent is one of the few surviving commercial potteries in the south east of England making a range of handmade thrown and handbuilt ceramics, plus architectural commissions.
The pottery also runs a school of ceramics for over 100 students.
Two master potters Alan Parris and Billy Byles run the pottery today. Set in the grounds of the Aylesford Priory, just outside Maidstone, it is open seven days a week. They have worked together for over twenty years and been based at Aylesford for ten years.
Visitors will find them at work throwing pots and can browse the gallery of their work seven days a week.
